Decided to go to Abbotsbury for a walk and try and take some pictures. It was supposed to be a sunny day, the first for seemingly ages in what has been a very grey winter so far. Only fleeting glimpses came through and never really at the right moment, but it was a lovely if somewhat muddy walk and here are the few things that caught my eye. One photograph is regular black and white but even that has had to have digital magic poured on it to get a reasonable image. I always like animals in my pictures and these gorgeous black cattle were perfect but on the wrong side of the hill!! Inspired by visiting Don McCullin’s latest exhibition , I am more inclined to shoot into the light when there is a cloudy sky.
The rest are infra red and may give the impression of snow but it is unlikely now that we will get any of that to light up landscape pictures.
