I am very thrilled to announce that I have a large exhibition of my pictures coming up at the Somerset Rural Life Museum in Glastonbury. It officially opens on the 8th of January when I will be there all day.
The exhibition covers my 20 years of work on the Blackdown Hills. It startswith some of the pictures from my original commission in 2002 when I was commissioned by the then ‘Countryside Agency’ to put together an image bank for the new designated Blackdown Hills AONB which captured the spits and essence of the Hills.
My photography has continued there ever since as it is such a fascinating area for the kind of pictures I love to take.
The exhibition features 52 monochrome images and 2 colour – it covers portraits, landscapes and documentary pictures . It starts with the early ones taken on film and now scanned and finishes with a set of ones taken recently with a camera that has been modified to be sensitive to infra red light.
