Had a fun day out yesterday with the MPA South West Region. We went on the steam train from Bishops Lydeard to Watchet, getting off on the way at Crowcombe Heathfield to try and take ‘Brief Encounter’ type photographs in roaring sunshine. It was very interesting to see top professional Stuart Wood having to work under great time pressure, heat and tricky tricky light conditions. He coped brilliantly of course and produced some absolutely stunning images – this is not one of them – this was mine snatched along the way. What a treat, such a shame that more of our local photographers didn’t come.
